Create Access Token

An access token functions like a password, so each user is required to create it individually. Jira Administrator cannot create access tokens for other users for security reasons.

Create Data Source

A data source is the primary source of data sets containing tables and fields for further analysis. It represents the data selected by the user for export to Looker Studio.

Export Data from Jira to Looker Studio

Exporting data from Jira to Looker Studio involves connecting to Looker Studio using a previously created access token and transferring the datasets included in the data source.

The History module has been implemented as a separate tab of the Looker Studio Connector. The module includes the following submodules:

Since the Looker Studio Connector for Jira does not automatically create relationships between tables and fields in Looker Studio, we provide info on how to build them correctly in Entity Relationship Diagram.
